Sienna X was the very first sunless tanning product to introduce a product that was individual to each person. Sienna X products are made of DHA, which works wth your own skin pigmentation to create a natural looking sunless tan. The amount of DHA determines colour – 6%, 8%, 10%, 12%, 16%, the higher the DHA, the darker the colour. For example:
Pale / Fair skin 6-8%
Medium skin 10-12%
Darker / Olive skin 12-16%

All you need to know:

  • The treatment is completed in the comfort of your own home. Sienna X were the first to introduce a collapsable spray tan booth, which means minimum space required and no mess.
  • The tan will only take between 7-10 minutes to complete. It is quick, painless and creates a natural streak-free tan.
  • The tan will be applied using an air compressor.
  • As much or as little of your body can be sprayed, that’s your choice. Once you have all over coverage, you may then re-dress (it is advisable to wear loose dark clothing).
  • The tan must not come into contact with water for 12 hours.
  • DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) is a colourless sugar, applied using a specialist low pressure spraying machine.
  • The DHA in the solution interacts with the proteins and amino acids in the outer layer of your skin to produce a golden brown colour
  • The colour you see at the time of your treatment is purely a guide colour so we can ensure even coverage. In 12 hours your actual tan wil have developed and will be revealed after you shower.
  • Sienna X gives the same results as spending 10-14 days in the sun!
  • The tan will continue to darken over the 12 hours. When showering, the surface will wash off leaving your beautiful natural sunless tan. Ensure you only pat the dry skin.
  • Your tan will last 7-10 days depending on your skincare tourine and lifestyle.
  • Avoid excessive exercise.
  • Long baths or going swimming will fade your tan quicker.
  • Moisurise daily to prolong your colour.
  • Exfoliate after day 4-5 to encourage even fading.

Before you tan

  • Exfoliate the day / night before, pay particular attention to knees, elbows and any other dry areas.
  • Wax or shave 24/48 hours prior to treatment.
  • Do not moisturise or use deodorant and perfume as they can act as a barrier.
